only the extended warranties were in play. its worth noting that both of these vehicles are 2016 models, so they are well outside of factory warranty. Since they are mfgr extended, the dealers that do the work have all that information available and I did not have to deal with phone calls to warranty company, or paying first and getting reimbursed, they just look up the VIN see its covered, do the work and hand me the keys. One thing I forgot to mention was how simple it worked on both these vehicles. I bought a 6 year/60k warranty that is good until 2027 or 50k more miles (I've put 10k on it so far). so it has paid for itself and anything that happens in the next year and a half is going to be saving me money in the long run. (new compressor, and new condenser) It's still good until 2023. I saw the quotes for fixing the issues and both of them totaled what I paid for the HondaCare warranty.
